About
Today, I am a proud member of the Creative Services and Seattle Public Schools TV (SPSTV) team at Seattle Public Schools; providing design expertise to the many videos, animations, and other projects needed across our vast, multifaceted institution. As an SPS designer, I've learned to work collaboratively with the many different teams and individuals across the organization to brought their visions to life through many creative mediums. I’ve learned to balance my own expertise and preferences with the needs of my clients, and lean on the other talented members of the SPSTV team.
During my 7 years with SPSTV, our team has raised the standard of communication, video, and design materials to a level never before seen by the institution. From redesigning the brand/style guide of Seattle Public Schools to developing informational videos that benefit our students and families furthest from educational justice, our goal has been to deliver the professional quality of work that Seattle Public Schools both needs and deserves.
Outside of the world of design, I enjoy disc golfing, hiking and traveling with my endlessly adventurous wife, volunteering at church, deep diving through obscure music genres on bandcamp, and working on my own artwork through the mediums of illustration and writing. I’m an avid fan of table top roleplaying games and have run DnD games as a game master and campaign writer for over 12 years. I’m always excited to explore the many creative opportunities and experience life has to offer!
